These terms describe your use of Orita, operated by Blue Shed Digital LLC. Contact us at contact@blueshed.digital.
Using Orita
Orita is a tool for capturing and organizing information. Use it lawfully and with content you have the right to use. You retain your rights in the content you create. These terms do not transfer ownership of your notes to Blue Shed Digital LLC.
The license and purchase terms applicable to the store where you obtain the app also apply. This website does not replace the license displayed by that store.
Available features and previews
Features vary by platform, installed version, device, permissions, and purchase status. The current App Store version is the product available through this website’s iPhone download link.
The refreshed signed-in browser workspace is available now. Mobile features require a compatible installed build; compatible Orita 5.1 installations receive updates on a future cold start. Product images and the launch film use example content. They do not promise that every feature is in the current public store download. Planned prices do not start a subscription. Only the offer confirmed at checkout defines your purchase.
Web accounts
Keep your credentials secure and provide an email address you control. You remain responsible for the content you add. The free web account permits 3 active notes and a 2 MB text library. Paid access remains subject to the separate 2 MB text-library limit. No payment is required and creating an account does not begin a subscription. Recording is available with microphone permission; automatic AI processing requires eligible access and available allowance. Web subscription checkout is currently preparing for launch. Existing eligible access remains supported. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or bypass usage limits. We may restrict abusive use.
You can export your library or delete your account in Settings. Your account’s active cloud library is removed on account deletion; exported copies and provider backups are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Preview features may change or be interrupted. We will explain material changes to available paid offers before purchase.
Expiring content and backups
Orita is designed to let notes expire. In the local redesign, a new note’s first saved title or body starts a 24-hour timer by default. Use Keep before the deadline if you need to retain it. Disabling default expiry affects future notes, not existing deadlines. Editing does not extend a deadline. Empty drafts remain untimed.
Tasks, spaces, cards, and meeting records are retained separately. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and retention. A suspended or closed app may not remove stored content at the exact deadline. Exports and other copies are separate from the active library.
Keep independent backups of important content. Importing a JSON backup in the redesign replaces its local library after confirmation. Local storage is not a recovery service; we cannot restore information we do not possess.
Purchases and refunds
If your installed version offers paid features, review the description, price, and terms shown by the store before buying. A one-time purchase differs from a recurring subscription. A purchase does not include another platform or future service unless its offer says so.
Apple processes App Store purchases under its purchase terms. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase and applicable law. You may use Apple’s refund process. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies provided by applicable consumer law. Contact us if you need help identifying an Orita purchase.
The redesigned app’s Device lifetime upgrade is a one-time purchase for unlimited local notes. Supported paid Apple builds include 300 on-device English transcription minutes per installation per UTC month and capability-dependent local summaries. Local summaries require iOS 26+, available Apple Intelligence and a supported device/language; Android local AI is not supported. The device purchase does not include hosted AI or Orita cloud storage. Orita Cloud is the connected subscription, with monthly or annual billing as selected at purchase. Existing Pro purchases remain supported. Payment is charged to the purchasing store account on confirmation. Apple subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Google Play subscriptions renew unless canceled before renewal under Google Play’s terms. Manage or cancel through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation normally leaves access through the paid period, subject to refunds, revocation, and applicable law. Uninstalling Orita or deleting an account does not cancel renewal.
Configured US Cloud prices are $7.99 monthly or $79.99 annually; current availability is shown in checkout. Localized checkout prices, taxes, and available offers may differ. Cloud includes 600 hosted transcription minutes per UTC calendar month, including for annual subscribers. Existing Pro access is preserved. Generating a summary does not consume transcription minutes a second time. Allowances reset on the first day of each month and do not roll over. Audio is processed in segments with a one-minute minimum per segment. Completed segments are reused when a supported retry resumes the same recording; reserved processing usage can count toward the limit. No unlimited AI use is included. If your allowance is exhausted, existing device recordings remain available while you wait for the next reset or choose an available upgrade.
Subscription services require internet access and an Orita account. Availability and compatibility may change. Material price or offer changes will be disclosed through the applicable store or service process; nothing in these terms overrides your statutory rights. Google Play purchases are also subject to Google Play’s refund policies.
Cloud files and web billing
Where enabled, Cloud provides 25 GB of account file storage, with a 20 MB limit per attachment. Existing Pro purchases remain supported. The structured notes and workspace library has a separate 2 MB limit. These allowances do not mean unlimited individual notes, recordings, or file sizes. Files associated with expiring notes expire with those notes. Download independent copies of anything you need to retain. When paid access ends, uploading and other paid operations may be restricted; available export and deletion controls remain subject to your account and content status.
Web subscriptions, when available, are processed by Stripe through RevenueCat. The price and billing period are displayed before you confirm checkout. They automatically renew until canceled through the web billing management link. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Account deletion does not cancel billing. Contact contact@blueshed.digital for billing help or refund requests; applicable consumer rights continue to apply.
Third-party services and generated content
Features that open a website, use a platform service, or share content with a destination you choose depend on that service’s terms and availability. If your version includes recording or transcription, obtain any permissions required for the conversation you record. Check transcripts and generated summaries for mistakes before relying on them. With eligible access, stopping a recording starts automatic transcription and meeting-note generation. These processing stages can fail independently; saved audio and completed progress support recovery. Generated meeting notes are a draft for review and explicit saving. Verify audio was captured; do not rely on Orita as the sole record of an important meeting. AI output may omit or misstate facts, decisions, speakers, or action items.
Changes and ending use
You may stop using Orita. Removing the app does not by itself delete a separately stored cloud backup, recall an export, or cancel an independently billed service. Use the relevant device, service, or store controls.
Revised terms and their date will be published here. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
